Our Inspiring Thoughts card deck is here and I am so excited to share them with you! It is a deck of cards that I created to supply you with insights and inspiration about the 3 principles of how the mind works and our innate well-being. When you start to understand these principles your overthinking, stress and anxiety of the Ego start to fall away and you will experience a shift in perspective that will reveal your true innate well-being that you have always had inside of you.
The 3 principles understanding has been life changing for me and I am so excited to share my knowledge and insights with you through these cards.
Have you ever stumbled upon something and immediately felt with every part of your being that it was truth? That it was what you have been searching for? That is how I felt when I discovered the 3 Principles. I automatically felt this connection with it; this deep knowing. At its core, it is an understanding of how humans work at the most basic level. It explains everything you need to know about the way humans experience the world. We experience life from the inside out, not the outside in like most people are brought up to think. You do not need something outside of you to cope, fix or make you feel better, it is already inside of you and you can access it at any time. This understanding has changed all aspects of my life in that it gave me a new relationship to thought, and thought is the way we experience our world. The three principles are: Mind, Consciousness and Thought.
Mind
The energy and intelligence of all life. It is what is running the show of life in all beings. The essence before the “I am” that is is deep down inside all of us. When you find it, you will experience a feeling that words cannot explain.
Consciousness
Consciousness is the gift of awareness. Consciousness allows the recognition of form, with form being an expression of Thought.
Thought
Thought is a divine gift, which serves you immediately after you are born. Thought is the creative agent we use to direct us through life. Thought is not reality, yet it is through thought that our realities are created.
Mind + Consciousness + Thought = Reality
When I started diving deeper into this understanding I started to learn that in our essence, in our resting, grounded space, we are Mind, a thing of peace and happiness. All of us are. And we are connected through mind like a wave is connected to the ocean. Separate, but together.
Humans create thought and with the act of being conscious we are able to process that thought to turn anything into our reality. All thought comes linked with a feeling and this feeling makes thought seem so vibrant that it creates the illusion of our reality. It feels so real that we get caught up in it, and that is okay because that is the way the game is played. But when you can understand and see how the process works, then you can see that all thought is created by us internally. So all of those thoughts; wether positive or negative are created by us and are viewed by us as reality. The beauty of this understanding is seeing that we are not that layer of thought and we do not need to stand so close to it (like a toddler with their noses pressed up against the glass). We are the creator, the space before the thought. At our essence, we are actually Mind.
In coming back to the analogy of an ocean: We are the sand at the bottom of the ocean: calm, smooth and peaceful. When we look up, we see the waves of our thoughts. Sometimes it is a calm day and we only have a few ripples of waves, and sometimes there are rough seas and we have massive waves that could sink a ship. But knowing that even if there is a storm going on up above; you can sink down, create space; and be the sand at the bottom of the ocean. You can sit with it, watch it, see it for what it is, a rough sea of thought, and soon, just like the rough seas, it will pass and clear.
This is the beauty and the essence of you. Knowing this at a fundamental level can help you feel that warmth of Mind, make it easier for you to rest in that space more often. And it can change your life like it did mine.
